\nOur History
\nLocated in Montr\u00e9al\u2019s International District and part of a chain of more\u00a0than 170 hotels worldwide, the InterContinental Montr\u00e9al became, in\u00a01991, the first \u201cfour-diamond\u201d hotel in the magnificent and historic Old\u00a0Montr\u00e9al.<\/p>\n
It comprises two buildings, the most recent, a unique 26-storey\u00a0tower of mainly hotel rooms and suites, and the Nordheimer, dating from\u00a01888, which houses conference and event spaces. Together they form an\u00a0impressive architectural ensemble whose history has grown richer over\u00a0time. The result is an indoor\u00a0village covered by an impressive glass roof that can be comfortably explored\u00a0in any season.<\/p>\n
The hotel is integrated into the Centre de Commerce Mondial de Montr\u00e9al, a complex of historic buildings inaugurated in 1992.<\/p>\n
